high voltage training courses
The ecs Training School was established in 2006 in direct response to the electricity utility market demands and to augment and compliment our activities in the high voltage cable business. Located in Laindon in Essex, we specialise in the training of high voltage cable jointers and oil fitters employed on the primary distribution network.
We run bespoke or tailor-made courses in:
We have the capability of directing courses of education in the workings of hydraulic cable systems for those that wish to study for an Hydraulic Cable Engineers qualification or those that would like to have knowledge in owning and operating an oil pressurised cable network.
We are able to accommodate courses that run on a day basis, fully residential or that are site orientated.
We fully recognise City & Guilds qualifications and are familiar with the new Electrical Power Distribution skills package 2339.
We have trained our own adult learners in-house over a two year period to build on our workforce.
For those jointers that would like to enhance their skills, we offer a full range of courses that build on existing techniques, such as oil filled pressure plumbing.
The manufacturers that support us are Ericsson, Tyco, 3M, Pfisterer, ABB, and LS Cables. Our background means we also have an intimate knowledge of many of the older jointing technologies supported by defunct manufacturers such as BICC, AEI, Pirelli and others.
Our trainers have worked extensively in the UK, Australasia and Northern Europe.
Talk to the ecsperts to see how we could develop your skills in an ever-changing jointing environment.
