Here at Elmeridge Cable Services, we have developed a strong and close relationship with two of the leading manufacturers of high voltage cable systems: Ericsson AB of Sweden and LS Cable of Korea.

Through these partnerships, we can provide a range of high voltage cable solutions for XLPE cable systems, oil filled cable systems and gas filled cable systems at 33kV, 66kV, 132kV and 400kV.

A complete range of designs can be manufactured including:

copper and aluminium conductors
XLPE and oil filled insulation
Aluminium foil laminate, lead sheathed or seamless corrugated aluminium sheath
Medium density polyethylene or high density polyethylene oversheaths with low smoke and fume or low smoke zero halogen (LSF, LSOH) materials for cable tunnels

Fibre optic cable packages can be included in the construction for distributed temperature measurement along the cable system.

High voltage subsea cables can also be supplied from state of the art manufacturing facilities. AC and DC high voltage subsea cable systems in long continuous lengths can be manufactured and loaded directly onto cable laying vessels adjacent to the factory.

High voltage cables are manufactured to meet the specific customer requirements, however we maintain a stock of short lengths of high voltage cable for emergency repairs or cable system maintenance.
